If you don’t see a park listed, it probably falls under another agency’s control.The Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) manages 89 million acres of land the National Forest Service (NFS) manages an additional 193 million acres and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) manages an astounding 245 million acres of public lands! has three other land management agencies ( read more about them here). I've listed many of these areas below, however they are not included on the printable checklists. These areas preserve important parts of the U.S.' natural and cultural heritage, however the majority are not units of the NPS.
